In Sales
Hey everyone, I want to make things easy and straightforward, so here are some general guidelines for selling here: 1) Start your post with the price(s) 2) Write a solid description of your item(s) 3) Include good pictures 4) If you want to sell on the RMD store and use the in-house payment processing, shoot me a message or email. This would be a convenient method for someone who wants to sell multiple things and doesn't want to manually process each transaction directly with the customer, or wants to list their high-priced items on a specialized website for a professional appearance.

Hello everyone, thanks for joining the RMD Forum on this niche end of the internet 😄. Write a few sentences about yourself in this thread, what you do, who you are, and why you're here! My goal is for this forum to become an online 'haven' for talent, creativity, and learning. If you don't know anything about me, let me give you a brief introduction to me and RMD. Like many of you, I was the kid growing up who spent more time on personal projects than I did with friends - everything from etching custom circuit boards to building metal foundries, drawing, sculpting, woodworking, machining, you name it and I probably had an interest in it. I was lucky enough to be introduced to this world from a very early age through my grandfather, who was an ex-master machinist for some high powered government contracting companies, and a mom who let her kid's creativity run free. I'm 23, and my professional background is in building and working on six-and-seven figure custom cars. I'm currently back in college for a 2nd degree, at SCAD Atlanta. Growing up, I was looking to attend MIT (dream college, even still), but life went a little differently and I ended up getting my foot in the door at some high-end hot rod/custom shops when I turned 18. Went to tech college at the same time, got an associates in auto tech, moved up to Indiana to work with some incredible companies and people, and then realized a couple years later that I still really want a formal education in design. This realization is what led, in part, to the formation of Rienks Motor Design, so I could easily continue designing for and working with these companies after moving back to Georgia and going back to college full-time. Things are beginning to take off with RMD, and this company is turning into something much more than I originally planned, especially in such a short time frame. I am booked out for months with work and am looking to hire other talented people. RMD is in talks with other companies about exclusive future design contracts, like Pininfarina does with Ferrari. My life's goal, one of the only unwavering goals and driving forces in life since I was in elementary school, is to build a car company, branch out into other industries, and help progress the world for the better. The more RMD continues to grow, the more I realize this little design company might one day lead to an international automotive company. Thanks for reading 😊, Shane Rienks

In Welcome to the Forum
I want everyone to get the most out of this community, so please read and follow these simple guidelines: Respect each other. We don't know anything about one another, so don't assume things. Do not write knee-jerk reactions. If something bothers you, take a few minutes, cool off, and then post your reply. I encourage open discussion with opposing viewpoints, and critical thinking. Things can get heated, but under no circumstances do you engage in direct insults. Do not assume things, ask. Strict "no a**holes" policy. A**holes receive immediate expulsion. Keep posts relevant to the forum topic. No spamming. If you want to promote your business or services, do so only in the "Business and Services" topic. If you want to sell something, put it in the "For Sale" topic.
